Milwaukee has waited a long time for this. After 57 years, a 1982 World Series heartbreak and two NLCS exits to the Dodgers in the past decade, the Milwaukee Brewers are finally world champions, and the city is throwing a party. The Brewers beat the Tampa Bay Rays 4-1 in Game 5 on Wednesday night to win the 2026 World Series four games to one, and the team has confirmed a championship parade and rally for Friday, October 30. “Brewers parade” has exploded on Google Trends with more than 500,000 US searches. Here is everything fans need to know: start time, route, rally details, tickets, shuttles, bag rules and how to watch from home.
Quick answer: The Brewers World Series parade is on Friday, October 30, 2026, starting at 10 a.m. CT at N. 4th Street and W. Wisconsin Avenue in downtown Milwaukee. Parade route and start time
The Parade of Champions steps off at 10 a.m. Central Time from the corner of North 4th Street and West Wisconsin Avenue. From there it heads through downtown along Wisconsin Avenue, which the team calls “Milwaukee’s historic Wisconsin Avenue,” and finishes at Henry Maier Festival Park on the lakefront, the home of Summerfest. The Brewers have published a route map on brewers.com/parade but had not released a full street-by-street list at the time of writing, so check the map before you pick your viewing spot.
Public viewing is open along the entire route. The team expects very large crowds and recommends arriving early. Based on past Milwaukee celebrations, including the Bucks’ 2021 NBA title parade, spots along Wisconsin Avenue tend to fill hours ahead of the start.
The championship rally at Henry Maier Festival Park
The parade ends at the festival grounds, where the Brewers are hosting a free championship rally and fan festival. Gates open at 8 a.m. and festivities run until 3 p.m. Admission to the grounds is free and first come, first served until capacity is reached. If the park fills up, the team says entry may close and overflow options will be announced.
Inside the park, fans can expect:
- Large video screens showing live parade coverage
- Brewers alumni appearances and live DJs and music
- Food and drink options
- Exclusive championship parade and rally merchandise, sold only at the celebration
- A special screening of Ueck, the documentary about legendary Brewers broadcaster Bob Uecker, which is one reason “Bob Uecker” is also trending this week
- A limited-edition championship rally towel for the first 50,000 fans, courtesy of Associated Bank
Tickets for the amphitheater program
The rally speeches take place inside the American Family Insurance Amphitheater, and seats there require a ticket. Season seat members got a presale starting at 10 a.m. Thursday, October 29, and general public sales open at 2 p.m. CT the same day, with a limit of two tickets per email address. Net proceeds go to the Brewers Community Foundation. Fans without amphitheater tickets can still watch the program on video boards throughout the park.
Getting there: shuttles, parking and transit
Downtown traffic and parking are expected to be very limited, and road closures will be in place along the route. The Brewers strongly encourage public transit, rideshare, carpooling, biking or walking.
- Park-and-ride shuttle: Free parking at American Family Field, with shuttle buses to the celebration. Shuttle tickets cost $5 per passenger, and every passenger needs one. Proceeds go to the Brewers Community Foundation.
- Shuttle times: Buses leave American Family Field from 7 a.m., with the last departure at 11:30 a.m. Arrive 30 minutes before your selected time slot and board at the AmFam parking lot. Return shuttles will be provided.
- Driving downtown: Parking is expected to fill early, so the team suggests parking outside the immediate downtown area. Specific road closures will be confirmed by the city and the team.
Bag policy and what to bring
Everyone entering Henry Maier Festival Park goes through metal detection. Only clear bags no larger than 12″ x 12″ x 6″ are allowed, plus small non-clear clutches, wallets or fanny packs up to 6″ x 9″. All bags may be searched. The team advises dressing for the weather, wearing comfortable shoes, bringing a fully charged phone and agreeing on a meeting spot for your group. WISN 12 forecast afternoon highs in the mid-60s °F for Friday.
How to watch the Brewers parade on TV or online
If you cannot make it downtown, FOX6 in Milwaukee is the official broadcast partner, with exclusive access along the parade route; Potawatomi Casino Hotel sponsors the live broadcast. The Brewers also say the celebration can be streamed for free on brewers.com. For fans on the East Coast, the 10 a.m. CT start is 11 a.m. ET; on the West Coast it is 8 a.m. PT.
How the Brewers won the 2026 World Series
The parade caps one of the most dominant runs in recent baseball history. Milwaukee won a franchise-record and MLB-best 103 regular-season games, claimed a fourth straight NL Central title, then went 11-2 in the postseason. They beat the San Diego Padres in the Division Series, swept the two-time defending champion Los Angeles Dodgers in the NLCS and beat the Rays in five games. We covered the turning point in our Game 3 recap, when Milwaukee routed Tampa Bay 10-1.
| Game | Date | Result |
|---|---|---|
| Game 1 | Fri, Oct 23 | Brewers 3, Rays 2 |
| Game 2 | Sat, Oct 24 | Brewers 5, Rays 4 |
| Game 3 | Mon, Oct 26 | Brewers 10, Rays 1 |
| Game 4 | Tue, Oct 27 | Rays 4, Brewers 3 (12 innings) |
| Game 5 | Wed, Oct 28 | Brewers 4, Rays 1 |
Game 5: Misiorowski, Pratt and Contreras close it out
At Tropicana Field on Wednesday, rookie shortstop Cooper Pratt drove in the first run with a second-inning single off Rays ace Drew Rasmussen, who was pitching on three days’ rest. Pratt singled again in the fifth and scored on a David Hamilton single, setting a World Series rookie record with hits in six consecutive at-bats. In the sixth, a William Contreras double and a Pratt sacrifice fly made it 4-0.
Starter Jacob Misiorowski threw 5 2/3 scoreless innings before leaving with a right calf cramp, and relievers JoJo Romero, Abner Uribe and closer Trevor Megill allowed just one run the rest of the way. Megill got the final out on a groundout to second baseman Brice Turang.
William Contreras named World Series MVP
Catcher William Contreras, a three-time All-Star, was named World Series MVP after hitting .381 with a .435 on-base percentage, four RBIs, two runs scored and a stolen base across the five games. He also shone behind the plate, throwing out two runners in Game 1 to end Rays threats. “I don’t have words to say for how I’m feeling,” Contreras said after receiving the award.
Manager Pat Murphy, the two-time defending NL Manager of the Year, said: “We came in with a spirit about us, and we weren’t going to be denied.” Team captain Christian Yelich added: “I think any time you win a World Series, it changes a place a little bit.”
Why this title means so much to Milwaukee
This is the first championship in the history of a franchise that began as the Seattle Pilots in 1969 before moving to Milwaukee in 1970. The Brewers’ only previous World Series trip came in 1982, when a team led by Robin Yount and Paul Molitor fell one win short. They lost seven-game and four-game NLCS series to the Dodgers in 2018 and 2025. With Milwaukee’s win, only four MLB franchises have never won a World Series: the Mariners, Padres, Rays and Rockies.
The team also did it without a big budget. According to ESPN, Milwaukee had the 19th-highest payroll in baseball and ranked 28th in home runs, winning instead with pitching (the bullpen posted a 1.34 ERA in October) and defense.
