PM Narendra Modi addresses the nation today (14 April 2020). Regarding the further actions and rules to protect citizens and the nation against the COVID-19 virus spread.
Here’s what he declared & said during the session:
- First, he thanked all the citizens and said Sorry for all the struggles they have to go through.
- Nothing is more precious than the lives of Indian citizens
- Talked about the actions taken from starting till now.
- Also compared to other countries and how we’re doing it.
Major Declaration:
- Lockdown extend till 3 May 2020
- No new hotspot area should be generated.
- Till 20 April, every place will be monitored from how they are doing the tasks given by the government.
- If there are no new cases and everything goes fine, after 20 April few permissions will be given.
- Strictness will be increased
Further he requested 7 requests from citizens:
- Take care of older people in the house, especially those who are affected by other diseases.
- Use homemade masks in a proper way.
- Improve the immunity of ourselves

- Help and take care of poor people as much as possible
- Take care of employees working in your business or company
- Respect all the people working for ourselves during this situation such as daily workers, doctors, and police.
